About me and this site

Hi there!

Since you’ve reached this site, you must be knowing something about me already, as the link to this site can only be found from within the networking sites of which I’m a member. 

I’m also reasonably sure that you  know that Riju is not my official name—rather it’s the name by which I’m popularly known among my friends and relatives.  The name on my official documents says “Sumanta Gupta”, but its nowhere near as popular as my  ‘other’ name!

In any case, like the Bard of Avon once wrote:

“What's in a name? that which we call a rose

By any other name would smell as sweet;

So Romeo would, were he not Romeo call'd,

Retain that dear perfection which he owes

Without that title…”

 

Well, even though I’m not Romeo by a long shot :) and don’t claim to be perfect, this website will still give you a lot of information about both Riju Gupta and Sumanta Gupta. I have summarized my career related information in the Professional Credentials section of the site. Information of a more personal nature such as my hobbies and other stuff is available in the section titled My Universe. Then there are all the photographs to check out in the Gallery section.  I will also be putting up my blog on this site soon, so keep coming here from time to time to check for updates.
